Doberman Pinschers are considered to be people oriented that are affectionate, loyal (maybe clingy), and loving dogs. They are wonderful with children when properly trained and socialized.

Unless you’ve done plenty of research… LOTS of research… then I don’t think this would be a good first choice.

The training never stops! It is an ongoing practice. Dobermans are smart, easy to train, and will remember their training. They are very active and highly intelligent. They require regular mental stimulation to prevent boredom and destructive behavior.

Males typically weigh between 75 to 100 pounds.

Females typically weigh 60 to 90 pounds

As puppies they do not know what another animal is. They will generally get along well if socialized from a young age. They should be introduced slowly.

All my puppies are guaranteed for genetic issues for the first year of their life (this will not include any diseases that can be prevented by the new owners not following vaccination protocol, such as Parvo or Distemper.

Should a genetic issue be discovered before your puppy’s first birthday, I will replace your puppy with another.
